Seminar: Journey to the Ecuadorian Jungle with the Yachak Family – Healers from the Kichwa Tribe
Join us for an immersive experience in the Ecuadorian rainforest, guided by Agustín Allpa Grefa and Míša.
Schedule
Day 1: Arrival in Quito, transfer to the thermal baths in Papallacta
Day 2: Relaxation in Papallacta thermal baths; initiation ritual into the jungle at a mountain lake with Agustín and Míša (elevation 3,100 m)
Day 3: Transfer to Tena
Day 4: Temazcal (sweat lodge), river bathing, overnight camping by the river near Tena
Day 5: Trek to Ruku Samay
Day 6: Overnight in the jungle by the Giant Ceiba Tree with Grandfather Tabac
Day 7: Work with Indigenous community members
Day 8: Learning about medicinal plants and traditional medicines; crafting a mystic pilchi
Day 9: Excursion to healing mud in the jungle
Day 10: School Sachawa and continued work with Indigenous peoples
Days 11-13: Three-day trek through the jungle alongside the river
Day 14: Return to Tena and visit to petroglyphs (large stones with ancestral teachings)
Day 15: Transfer back to Quito
Day 16: Quito city tour
Day 17: Visit local markets in Otavalo
Day 18: Departure

Approx. $1,700 USD (includes all programs, transfers, and accommodations; does not include herbal healing; prices may vary slightly due to changes in fuel costs in Ecuador) + airfare (approximately 20,000 – 33,000 CZK, depending on the airline).
